Welcome to the WRENCH at the Forks!

Our kiosk in the boxcars off the North West Corner of the main building.

We are open

  • Wednesdays from 4-8
  • Saturdays from 12-6
  • Sundays from 11-5

Our last open weekend for the season will be September 24th-25th!

Need a repair after September 25th? Book an appointment for Open Shop.

No appointment necessary. We always appreciate when you wear your mask.

New at the Forks: Stand Time!

Back by popular demand, we now offer an outdoor bike stand and toolset for you to use to fix your own bike, with support from a WRENCH mechanic during Forks Kiosk Hours!
-By Donation
-Stand time starts 15 mins after we open. Last Stand Time repair starts 45 mins before close.
-Walk up (no appointment necessary).
-You must wear a mask while making your repairs.
-You'll have 30 mins to make your repair(s). If no one is waiting, the mechanic may allow you additional fifteen min increments to continue wrenching. Max stand time for any one person is 60 mins.
-We sanitize tools and the workstation between guests.

At the Forks, we also offer bike sales, minor repairs, and when supplies allow, we give away bikes for kids who are under 8 years old (or thereabouts).

You'll find dozens of roadbikes, mountain bikes, and cruisers rebuilt by volunteers from discarded bikes and parts. Bike sales at the Forks help us expand community education and services, and our ability to ensure more Winnipeggers can get around by bike.

We also carry a limited number of WRENCH Basics at the Forks- bikes built for affordability and convenience to ensure no one who needs a bike goes without.
