Come learn how to fix your bike! Operating on the last Sunday of the month, Mellow Velo is one of our safe(r) space offerings for women, trans, non-binary, and two-spirit individuals to access the tools, parts and knowledge needed to repair bicycles! If you have ever felt uncomfortable, intimidated or unsafe in male-dominated bike shop spaces because of your gender identity/expression – this is for you. Mellow Velo runs from 1-5pm on the dates listed.

After School Leaders - Late Winter/Spring 2024
Over a series of 25 workshops, After School Leaders provides participants with well-rounded entry level exposure to everything from fundamental to advanced bicycle mechanics, frame painting and frame prep, and some road riding skills. In the process participants build up two bicycles, they get to keep one. This program is open to high school students throughout Winnipeg. A meal is provided and bus tickets can be covered by the program if needed.
