Open Shop

Powered by our dedicated volunteers, Thursday Open Shop serves the community by offering deeply affordable bike repairs, reclaimed parts, and basic refurbished bikes to those who are struggling financially. All our Open Shop services and repairs operate on a pay what you can basis. We will provide a suggested price for the  parts and  effort of our operation, and we encourage all those who can contribute this fair amount to do so.  Open Shop is operated by appointment, and is intended to serve as many people as possible in an orderly fashion. The Wrench reserves the right to limit the amount of repairs/parts/bikes depending on the day to ensure there is enough to go around. To book your slot, simply choose your intended service from the options below.  If you come down without an appointment  you can wait to see if any time becomes available.  Appointments are highly recommended.  Just need some time to work with a stand? No appointment necessary, come by and utilize our outdoor bike stand and toolset to fix your bike by donation. Each stand session is limited to about 30 minutes to accommodate as many people as possible.
